Our Tutors are certified and experienced instructors who are thoroughly screened and well trained. They are able to help students improve grades, raise test scores and learn study and organizational skills that will last throughout their academic careers. We have a variety of tutors whose expertise spans a wide variety of subjects. They have outstanding academic records and have proven to have a thorough knowledge and the ability to teach in their field.
Once the student is assessed, they are matched with the instructor who can best target his or her unique needs and abilities. Instruction is truly individualized - one-on-one, not 3 or 4 to one. After each session tutors meet with parents to review their student's progress.
Each student's own school curriculum us used. As an educator, our Director found that students made the most academic progress when they received one-on-one tutoring on the work that was challenging them in their classroom. With parental permission, our tutors talk with each student's teacher to gain insight into how to best meet their academic goals. These open lines of communication helps to create a bridge between home and school. Our tutors introduce enrichment material and offer diagnostic assessment when indicated.
